The Polish Falcons Heritage Foundation sponsors a variety of cultural workshops. The workshops are open to the public.

Presented by Lawrence G. Kozlowski, Polish Cultural Commissioner, the workshops are one part of an ongoing Polish Falcons Legacy Project.

"This project is devoted to supporting the living cultural heritage of Polish Americans," explained Timothy L. Kuzma, Polish Falcons Heritage Foundation President. "We are fortunate to be working with Larry to create a way through which Polish Americans can share their traditions and keep them alive for future generations," he continued.

"The primary purpose of the workshops is to safeguard and perpetuate the cultural heritage and folk arts practiced in the Polish American community, with an emphasis for the future generations to share and remember," said Mr. Kozlowski.

The Easter Workshop will offer participants the history and traditions of the celebration of a Polish Easter. It will also include Polish-American Palm Weaving, Polish Easter Eggs (Pisanki), Polish Papercutting (Wycinanki) and cooking demonstrations including the making of Polish Sausage (Kielbassa) and the baking and tasting of Polish Easter Cake (Babka).

The Christmas Workshop will offer participants the history and traditions associated with the celebration of a traditional Christmas Eve Dinner including Christmas Eve menu, making of Oplatek, creation of Polish Christmas Ornaments and the preparation of Traditional Mushroom Soup and Noodles and Cabbage, plus decorating Polish Honey Cake Ornaments.

The Harvest Workshop will offer participants the customs and traditions of the Polish Harvest including the creation of Polish Harvest Soup, Polish Papercuttings (Wycinanki), Polish Paper/Straw Flowers and Polish Chrusciki.

The Polish Cooking Workshop will offer participants culinary traditions and recipes for a variety of traditional Polish foods. Participants will create from scratch: Polish Pierogi (Filled Dumplings), Potato Pancakes (Placzki) and Homemade Noodles (Kluski).
